THE SURF GUIDE
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Manta, José Moreira “El Chino” rode his first waves at the legendary Murciélago beach. From an early age he was fueled by an insatiable craving for new and thrilling waves, mastering the surf mechanics of Ecuador´s coast over the years.
After earning his degree in business administration in Quito, Ecuador he embarked on a quest to explore and conquer new breaks, venturing to places like Chile, Peru, and even the enchanting Galapagos Islands. Not content with just riding waves, José also indulges his love for craft beer along the way.
With 29 years of surf experience, he has the knowledge of Ecuador best hidden spots to make sure you ride great waves while avoiding the crowds. Get ready for an electrifying surf adventure with José as your local guide! 🌊🏄♂️
