Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking. By booking a trip with Ecuador Surf Adventure, you and everyone in your group agree to the following.

Booking and payment. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Your dates are confirmed only once payment has been received, through our secure online checkout (card payments via Payphone). The person making the booking is responsible for payment for everyone in the group, and for making sure everyone in the group has read and understood these terms.

Changes and cancellations. We do not offer refunds for client cancellations. If you cannot make your booked dates, we will do our best to reschedule for another date, provided you notify us at least 72 hours in advance and dates are available. If no future date works for you, we will issue a credit for the full value of your booking, valid for 12 months. If we have to cancel your trip for reasons beyond our control, we will offer a new date, or a full refund if no alternative date works for you. All changes are subject to availability.

Surf conditions. The ocean is unpredictable. Trips run regardless of surf conditions. If the surf is flat or conditions are not suitable on a given day, we will offer alternative activities (some may carry an extra cost, which we will tell you about in advance). No refund is due for natural conditions outside our control.

Accommodation and third parties. We do not provide accommodation. If we help you find a hotel, hostel or rental, we act only as a connection between you and that provider. Your booking, payment and cancellation with them are governed by that provider’s own policies, not ours. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, quality or refunds. The same applies to any activity or service run by a third party.

Your responsibility and risk. Surfing and ocean activities carry inherent risks, and you take part at your own risk. You confirm that you and everyone in your group are in good health and able to swim, and you agree to follow your guide’s instructions at all times. You must tell us in advance about any medical condition or limitation relevant to the activity. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.

Insurance. We strongly recommend that you take out suitable travel and medical insurance before your trip, covering surfing and ocean activities.

What is included. What is and is not included in your trip is listed on the product page. Anything not listed is not included.

Photos. We may take photos during the trip and use them for our own promotional purposes. Tell us in advance if you prefer not to appear in them.
